The salesman I was working did a good job. I know the selection that All American had was very limited, so I went to the Chevrolet website to build my truck. I was able to find several trucks that met my requirements. I passed that on to my salesman and he had to pass it on to the person that deals with that. I put a lot of hours in researching the truck I wanted. I have purchased my last four vehicles from All American San Angelo. I did not feel that I got the best deal I good get. My credit was in the mid 800's and I got 37K for my trade in but I had still owed 14K on my trade in. Regardless I still had about 24K to put on my purchase plus the Supplier Discount I qualified for. I was trying to keep my monthly payment to 550 to 600. My initial choice was the high country I found a few High country online with the MSRP was 68K but was not able to get the payments down. I could not understand how my credit rating was excellent and trade in was excellent, but I still was not able to get exactly what I wanted. After spending many hours look at High Country trucks; I started looking at the LTZ price range. I found LTZ that was in the same price range of the High Country. I sent the salesman I was working several online selections. The selection I sent him the other person was not able to get the vehicle from the other dealerships. They finally found an LTZ that I was content with, and I was informed the monthly payments would be under 600 dollars. I come into All American dealership to sign the papers with finance. The finance guy personality was nice. He explained to me how they were able to get my payments to be under 600 dollars but having a balloon payment at the end of my 72-month payments. I would have to pay about 24K for the balloon payment. I was so surprised to hear that. I had spoken with other dealerships that was offering me 610 dollars monthly payment with 4K down payment along with my trade in value. I normally would not have accepted this deal but because I was trying to close this deal because my sister funeral was schedule on June 17, 2023, in Terrell Texas and I needed transportation. I had turned in my trade in and had items transferred over to the new 2023 truck. I felt pressure to make the deal. The truck is nice truck but it's not exactly what I wanted, and I felt that on the financial end was not the best deal. I asked for free oil change deal and/or car wash but not even able to get that. I am a contestant All American customer and did not feel that I was completely appreciated with this deal. Once again, the salesman I dealt with I believe he did all that he could do. I have nothing negative to say about him. One last complaint. I look at a copy of the window sticker showing all the options that came with this truck and I believe I did not get everything that's on the list. Rickey B. Roberson
